Answer to can blogging make money?

When blog was first started, it was purely published as non-profit sites for targeted readers. Nowadays however, since blogging has become one of the biggest hype in the cyber world, it has evolved itself into a culture, it now has moved up to another level where online users can look for a possibility to generate income.

Online users and new bloggers often ask the same question, can blogging make money? The answer is a definite yes. There are many reasons why the answer is yes which I would like to share with you. But please take note that I am only giving you reasons, not recommendations nor how to make money with your blogs kind of stuff.

Google Adsense is the most popular topic nowadays. It pays you certain amount of money when someone clicks on their adverts you display on your blogsite. We are not talking about big amount here, just great enough to add up your revenues. We are looking at $1-$5 a day to be more specific.

Promoting others digital products or better known as affiliate marketing also can generate great income for experienced bloggers. You do this by promoting others product and if the targeted visitor buys the product, you get a commission up too 75% per sales. Basically, the more buyers you get, the more money you will generate.

Another reason is get paid to blog. There are many companies willing to pay bloggers to write a good review about their company and their products. These companies will pay you at least $2.00 per article with minimum of 200 words in the beginning. As you gain more popularity, your value will double with time. Companies will want to pay you higher for your articles. Let’s say $16-$25 per article.

As I mentioned earlier, I am only giving you the answer to the common question not suggestions nor tips. I can only give you one advice, making money from blogging can be a great way to generate income but it will not be easy and going to take time and a lot of effort as well as cost you money too.

What It Takes To Scuba Dive

I am back to bring you more about the crazy little thing called scuba dive. This time I am discussing about what does it takes for any person who wants or desires to get wet and wild.

So what do you need? I would say the most important thing to have is your guts. Come on guys, there is no point if you freak out just by the sight of the ocean. make an appointment with a psychologist or who ever you can help you to get rid of the water phobic you have. But honestly, who really afraid of water. No one otherwise someone is going to have issues with hygienes.

Don’t worry if you are not good at getting along with others. Once you are involved in scuba diving, you will learn how to in no time at all.

Next, please people, learn the basic swimming. I’d rather sitting with my cocktail mix on the lounger than diving with with someone who couldn’t swim both underwater and at the surface. Too risky, too many paper works. Instructors, please make sure your student can at least swim no matter in what styles of swimming. Don’t compromise your credibility.

People, please make sure you know what you are about to face and experience. Understand that you are going to stay submerged for almost an hour at depth for almost an hour. Make sure you fully understand all the risks involved when participating into scuba diving. As a professional we are very susceptible to legal action simply because a diver didn’t fully understand how to minimize risks and how to avoid mishaps. Not good for the industry.

Finally, you don’t have to be an environmental activist. All that is required is your sense of respect for the nature. Regardless underwater or dry lands.

To wrap it up, anyone can be a scuba diver providing you have the desire to do it. Anyone, even a person with special condition. Just remember to include all the basic requirements I put above.

Come back for more next time. Next posting will be more interesting. To the pros and experienced one, comments and tips are very welcome.

Learning To Scuba Dive: The Training-Part 1

So you think you have what it takes to scuba dive now. Or you finally managed to convince yourself and your partner or best friends that scuba dive is okay. The next step is to find a dive training center nearby to sign up for the first level of scuba diving, Open Water Diver Course. But please wait for a minute and keep reading this post to know what exactly you are going to experience during the course. Very important so you have ideas of what the instructors are going to put you through.

I want to share with you in a very simple way about the trainings and the exercises you will meet. Scuba diving training is basically a progressive method which you start from someone who has no idea to someone who can claim yourself to be an expert depending on how you define expert.

First, you will have to go through a long session of academics which can be very exciting as well as boring. For me this is the worst part in the whole course. With 5 modules of 45minutes videos and cheesy presentations, you’d wished it to end quickly. Trust me you’ll have to agree with me later.

Depending on your instructor, you might have to go through 2 exams the same day even or in between your course. Don’t worry the exams are very easy to score and should you fail you are allowed to resit the exams. They are very easy, seriously unless you can’t read.

After the classroom, you will begin your in water training. These are the best part. These are the moment you will find out whether you can dive or not. These are your moment of truth. I am going to share with you some of the skills you have to master in order to become a competent scuba diver.

First skill, getting familiar with your equipments. Overall of 14kg to be carried on your back are the buoyancy jackets, the regulator, the tank and the lead weights. The jacket can be both inflated and deflated, you get the idea? To float and to sink. The regulator is your life line. It allows you to breathe underwater providing you know how to breathe. Haha.  The tank supplies beer to you while diving. Huh? Of course it supplies air so you can breathe. The lead weights are to anchor you at the bottom to join in with the wrecks. Seriously no, the weights are to compensate your naturally buoyant human body so you sink underwater and at the same time not heavy enough to surface up.

With my explanation, hopefully you get a rough idea about your equipments and their purposes. Come back for more explanation on what skills you will learn for underwater purpose.

The Introduction To Scuba Diving

For this first post of my favorite activity, I am going to describe scuba diving in my very own way. I want to share with everyone about this underwater passion in the easiest and simplest way to understand and to promote enjoyable readings with hope that it can benefit both beginners and experienced divers.

Right, first thing first. The introduction of scuba diving. Scuba basically stands for Self.Confessed.Underwater.Breathing.Addict. This sounds so much better than Self.Contained.Underwater.Breathing.Apparatus which sounds so plain and boring right? Haha but seriously, scuba diving is meant to be fun and exciting.

It is nothing like snorkeling where you just hover at the surface waiting for the Nemo to lunge a surprise attack at you. It is nothing like staring into an aquarium at the poor fishes waiting to be fed. Not exciting at all.

Trust me 60 percent of nowadays scuba divers around the world, professional or non-professional are proud people and will most likely to brag about their feats underwater. 25 percent will most likely to show off their futuristic dive gears. 10 percent of them most likely to become accessories freak and another 5 percent are old school divers who sticked with their antiques equipment.

In diving community, almost everyone had met with each other or heard about one another. It is a massive social networking that goes around the globe and just gets bigger every time. Amazing stories can be heard every time you meet other divers. Experiences either nice or not so nice shared with each other without hesitation.

This is my personal definition for global unity, maybe not so but this is where every person shares the same passion, underwater and the peaceful feeling it brings to every soul who has been there. Amazing right.

Layang-Layang Island: Wall Dive

Out of 16 great dive sites in Layang-Layang Island, there are 4 great sites for wall diving purposes. Plunging down to more than 1.5 kilometers, they are absolutely amazing sites to dive in. With each of them with their own unique features, diving along each wall brings divers different experience every time. Read along and I will share with you all that you need to know about these submerged world from my very own perspective.

Now, let me introduce to you the walls of Layang-Layang. 4 great walls,

  1. D’ Wall
  2. Crack Reef
  3. Shark’s Cave 1
  4. The Runway

On the next post I will elaborate more details on each sites.
